‘Up the Hills; Down the Valley’ – Film screening and Q&A in Bangkok, Thailand

16 February 2016 • 7:00 – 9:00 pm ICT
The Foreign Correspondents' Club of Thailand

We are proud to present a screening of our new short documentary ‘Up the Hills; Down the Valley’, plus Q&A with the producer Gigi Berardi and other experts.

The film follows La and Tuong, two women of Thai ethnicity living in the mountainous area northwest of Vietnam. Both women live with HIV, and the film documents their daily struggles to earn a living and support their families. Despite the stigma of the disease, the film communicates a message of hope, particularly through the companionship of other women in a local support group.

Please join us for this screening and Q&A in Bangkok, Thailand – all welcome.

The film was made in association with the Medical Committee Netherlands – Vietnam and Soul Rebel Films.
