Chagossians’ struggle continues

29 October 2008

The Chagos Islanders’ fight for their right to go home moves to the British parliament, following last week’s shock court decision, when the UK government’s ban on the Chagossians return to their Indian Ocean archipelago was upheld.

If you live in Britain, the UK Chagos Support Association is asking for your help. Write to your MP to ask her/him to sign an Early Day Motion 2333, demanding the Foreign Office negotiate the return of the Chagossians. The text of the EDM is available here.
