Premiere – New MRG documentary screening in Ha Noi

4 December 2015 • 3:00 – 5:00 pm ICT
Cinematheque, 22A Hai Ba Trung, Ha Noi, Vietnam

We are proud to announce the premier of MRG’s new documentary ‘Up the Hills; Down the Valley’

The film was made in association with the Medical Committee of North Vietnam and Soul Rebel Films.

‘Up the Hills; Down the Valley’ follows La and Tuong, two women of Thai ethnicity living in the mountainous area northwest of Vietnam. Both women live with HIV, and the film documents their daily struggles to earn a living and support their families. Despite the stigma of the disease, the film communicates a message of hope, particularly through the companionship of other women in a local support group.

If you are in Ha Noi you can catch the screening, to commemorate World Aids Day, on 4 December at 3pm at the Cinematheque, 22A Hai Ba Trung.
