Deadline: 18:00 BKK time Wednesday 20th December 2017

We are looking for an intern with a good knowledge of Thai and English to support our minority rights programme of work in Thailand. The internship will primarily be assisting with organising a speaking tour and film screening with one date each in Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Khon Kaen, taking place in January 2018.  Other work may involve checking partners’ reports and receipts, possibly translating materials from Thai to English or vice versa. (Translation will mainly be of internal documents, in the event that translation is of public documents, translation will be checked before publication), working on designs for new programmes, costings for events, budgets, making logistical arrangements for travel and meetings, organising a full set of records of project activities.

Candidates must be able to work from home in Thailand and attend the three speaking tour dates. Interns should be available at least 2 days per week, ideally starting the last week of December until end of January 2018 (with possibility of extension until end of February).  Interested candidates should email a CV and cover letter to nicole.girard (at)  by 18:00 BKK time Wednesday 20th December 2017.

Please note that this is an unpaid internship. The appointed intern will be supported to attend the speaking tour, with flights, accomodation and a small per diem.
