Minority Rights Group is currently looking for a Finance Intern to provide administrative support to our Finance team. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience working in Finance department within an international organisation. The post holder will report directly to the Director of Finance and Administration.
Some of the main responsibilities will include:
- analysis and reconciliation of grant funded expenditure
- processing and posting financial records and transactions into the accounting system
- checking patners’ financial reports and receipts
- assisting the Finance team with other data entry and with preparation for project and year-end audits
Candidates should be numerate and confident in handling figures, and have a great attention to detail. A good knowledge of Excel is required, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The selected candidate must be available to work 2/3 days per week and willing to commit for a minimum of 3 months (maximum 6 months) internship. The roles is based in our London office on Commercial Street.
Please note that this is an unpaid internship, but MRG will reimburse the travel and lunch expenses.
