The project aims to strengthen the efforts of the Lebanese National Working Group on Freedom of Religion and Belief (FoRB) through a comprehensive and multi-level approach. The project produces a mapping report that highlights the situation of recognized and non-recognized religious minorities in Lebanon and the challenges they face in providing recommendations to multiple stakeholders as a resource for policy development and advocacy efforts. The project also develops a practical toolbox for implementing previous recommendations after thoroughly reviewing all religious and non-religious declarations and documents issued in the MENA region. The project includes targeted awareness and advocacy campaigns in schools that utilize educational materials, workshops and interactive activities to engage students, teachers and parents in promoting FoRB.
