Project details

  • Organization name: Awrad-Clown Me In
  • Location: Lebanon
  • Website

The project creates a forum theatre street performance on the sensitive subject of the Syrian refugees’ presence in Lebanon. The project follows a group‐oriented approach, where Syrians tell their stories using different art forms. In this project, Clown Me In trains participants in theatre performances and collects their stories to be transformed into street forum theatre scenes performed in different hostile regions of the country. The scenes stage real experiences of racism, oppression, and exclusion, the spectators actively participate by joining the stage and propose a positive change and a solution to the problem.
