The project will respond to the problems of the Roma living in Lesser Poland, where there are numerous centres of this community. The project aims to break existing stereotypes towards the Roma and reduce the phenomenon of discrimination, intolerance and xenophobia. The project will increase knowledge in Roma culture, history and customs among 160 teachers and officials, increasing their knowledge about the Roma.

Participation in the classes will help to break negative stereotypes and reduce the phenomenon of intolerance towards Roma in the local environment. In order to become independent and empowered, 20 adult Roma people will take part in self-advocacy workshops, thanks to which they will acquire the attitude and knowledge to perform functions representing the interests/rights of their group.
