Project details
The present project is seeking to unlock innovation in equity and fair treatment for Roma in Bulgaria, by easing and ensuring access to justice through piloting legal aid mobile service for those in need through engaging committed young legal talent of Roma lawyers-to-be, members of the first for Eastern Europe Legal Incubator, to help improving fundamental rights awareness among Roma residents in three selected neighborhoods, next to the provision of pro bono or low bono legal advice and support in following key areas: access to justice mechanisms and access to public services (land and home ownership). Its hyperfocus is to enable communities by raising their capacity and knowledge of the existing legal mechanisms to achieve their rights, and on the other provide legal support in cases of rights violation.
