NAHNOO

Project details

  • Organization name: NAHNOO
  • Location: Lebanon
  • Website

The project sensitizes the Lebanese citizens, especially secular groups oppressed by the confessional system, to their change-driven role towards a non-confessional and democratic system. The project develops a report about the impact of the mention of the sect on identification documents on citizens’ lives and the rights of minorities. NAHNOO aims to publish the report online and use it as evidence to support its advocacy campaign, along with mapping the relevant stakeholders and decision-makers to target. The public will be engaged in discussions through awareness sessions in all nine governorates, in parallel to a national social media awareness campaign targeting specifically secular and other minority groups.
