Project details

The project aims to address the barriers impeding women’s socio-economic rights, amplifying their voices, and combating gender-based violence. The project provides comprehensive support, social inclusion, psychological well-being, political participation, and legal advocacy, all geared towards bolstering women’s indispensable roles within Palestinian society. Their mission’s core lies in a dedication to grassroots engagement and community-driven initiatives. Establishing gender committees within popular committees, forging an umbrella network across Palestinian refugee camps, and fostering collaboration and solidarity ensure that women’s rights remain at the forefront of advocacy endeavours.  By amplifying the voices of refugee women and centring their experiences, the unit catalyzes broader societal transformations, promoting democracy, social justice and gender equality.
