  • Organization name: Oummal
  • Location: Lebanon
  • Website

The project takes a comprehensive approach to addressing statelessness in Lebanon and the broader region. The project encompasses rigorous research involving data collection and analysis of stateless individuals and in-depth exploration of legal and policy frameworks to identify gaps in their protection. Oummal aims to expand its legal network to include legal e-clinics, legal awareness workshops, pro bono services, a dedicated legal hotline, and engaging in advocacy forts to challenge discriminatory laws. To raise awareness and garner support, the project leverages social media campaigns and online communities and plans to produce short documentaries highlighting personal stories and educating the public.
