Project details

  • Organization name: Rómovia pre budúcnosť – Šanca na lepší život | Roma for future – Chance on better life
  • Location: Slovakia

The project seeks to address the silence surrounding the experiences of the Roma community. Recognizing the absence of an impactful anti-discrimination campaign, it aims to engage the public through street polls, providing a platform for Roma individuals to share their discrimination experiences. The project educates the Roma community on human rights, fostering a transformative dialogue and challenging normalized discrimination. The target groups are young Roma, residents of Eastern Slovakia, and other minority communities. The initiative includes training sessions, street polls, live discussions, and tailored talks for Roma youth.
