The public purpose of the event is to show and emphasize the different fellow Latvians who make up Latvian society in a positive light and as an added value of the society, not as strange and incomprehensible. Great and proud people live in Latvia, and our authenticity is an added value both in Latvia and worldwide. The project will provide the ‘smallest stage in the world to the most normal people’. During the discussion festival ‘LAMPA’, taking place on 9 and 10 June 2023 in Cesis, the project will build an actual stage on which only two persons can fit. During the day, seven different people from vulnerable and most discriminated groups in Latvia will be interviewed about their lives, showing the richness and beauty of their unique lives.
