The initiative aims to empower 20 advocates from marginalized Roma communities to address the pressing issue of 240,000 people in Bulgaria lacking personal identification documents. The project involves comprehensive training sessions, community meetings, and dialogues with policymakers. Advocates will collect and present case studies, propose solutions and engage in advocacy campaigns to highlight the problem on social media. The project seeks to initiate the process of providing identification documents to the affected population by fostering dialogue and promoting legislative changes.
