Through the MACS advocacy grant, the project aims to empower transgender and gender-diverse individuals in Morocco. The organization aims to provide legal assistance to transgender communities, conduct ‘Know Your Rights’ workshops to build legal knowledge within the community, empower individuals to self-advocate and protect their rights and work to establish peer support networks. Additionally, the project researches to gather data on the human rights situation of transgender and gender-diverse communities, aiming to generate media attention and advocate for policy changes such as decriminalization and access to healthcare.
