Peoples under Threat 2017

20 July 2017

The Peoples under Threat index identifies those countries around the world where communities face the greatest risk of genocide, mass killing or systematic violent repression. Based on current indicators from authoritative sources, Peoples under Threat has been compiled every year since 2005 to provide early warning of potential future mass atrocities.

The release of the 2017 People’s under Threat data shows how ‘vulnerable peoples are living at deadly risk in a growing number of no-go zones around the world’.Read the full press release and visit the Peoples under Threat interactive online map to find out more.
