50 years of Minority Rights Group

For more than 50 years, Minority Rights Group International (MRG) has been at the forefront of the global movement to secure minority and indigenous rights. From land rights campaigning in Africa to countering hate speech in Europe, protecting freedom of religion in Asia to monitoring human rights violations in the Middle East, this volume showcases some of the wide ranging work of MRG and its partners over the decades. It also explores how MRG continues to build on these experiences as it responds to new challenges, such as Covid-19, and champion the rights of the most marginalized communities to equality, respect and inclusion.
