Protect minorities through your pay
Payroll Giving is a simple, tax-effective way to donate to Minority Rights Group International, for people working in the United Kingdom. If you are paid through PAYE then you’ll be able to make donations to us through your gross pay– before tax is deducted. This gives immediate tax relief on donations and means it will cost you less to donate, for example a monthly pledge of £10 would only cost you £8.
Double your donation
Lots of employers in the UK have schemes to match donations made through Payroll Giving. Just check your company policy or ask your employer if they would be happy to match your donations when you set up your Payroll Giving to MRG.
How can I set this up?
To donate to MRG through Payroll Giving, just contact your payroll officer or HR Department. If your organisation has a scheme in place, they will easily be able to setup a pre-tax donation from your pay. You can ask us for any information you might need by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
If your employer doesn’t have a scheme in place, please try to encourage them to open one. More details can be found on the HMRC website.
Please email us at email@example.com if you have any questions or would like some further information on our work.
