Minority Rights Group (MRG) Job Opening- Donor Reporting

Salary and duration: Grade C( £31,635- 34,725)  per annum- plus generous pension scheme. This position is full time/ permanent

We are looking to recruit a Donor Reporting Finance Officer to support the Programmes, Fundraising and Finance departments in the preparation of financial reports to donors, and budgets for new projects. The post holder will also work closely with the Director of Finance in preparing quarterly management account reports, and in the preparation of the charity’s annual budget.

Candidates should have a minimum of four years finance experience, including two years experience of either management accounts report preparation, or preparation of financial reports to external agencies (e.g. statutory donors, grant-making institutions, local authorities), or equivalent experience of accounts analysis and  reporting.  Candidates will also need experience of using accounts software packages (e.g. SAP, SAGE, QuickBooks, Sun, etc), a high level of numeracy, attention to detail and a high level of competence in using excel.   Candidates will need very good prioritisation and communication skills.

Ideally, candidates would have experience of charity finances involving statutory donors and reporting (if possible including some experience of EU funding and multiple donors funding particular projects).
