Helping the victims of illegal sterilisations

Organisation: Romodrom, o.p.s.

Location: Ostrava

The project supports women seeking compensation for involuntary sterilization, with focus on those whose claims are still pending or unfairly rejected by the Ministry of Health. Despite legal entitlement and successful court cases, many victims face unreasonable barriers, further prolonging their suffering.

It provides continuous social, peer and emotional support and ensures access to legal aid. Assistance includes drafting appeals, complaints about delays, Ombudsman submissions, and lawsuits, where victims have seen significant success. The project empowers survivors, restores dignity and pushes for systemic change.

Grant Amount: €15,000
