Organisation: Legal Empowerment Association for Legal Awareness |  Jog-erő Egyesület a Jogtudatosságért

Location: Homrogd, Olaszliszka, Lucfalva, Nógrádszakál, Hajdúszovát and Hódmezővásárhely Kincses-telep

This project aims to train 100-120 community members and NGO activists in six disadvantaged settlements in Hungary. The training will consist of two sessions per settlement: one for NGO activists (5-6 participants) and one joint session for community members and activists (15-20 participants). The joint sessions will focus on basic legal rights and discrimination, while the NGO training will cover contracts, social benefits, labour and family law.

Participants will receive an easy-to-read online leaflet summarizing key legal topics, with printed copies available. An online event will be held to gather feedback and assess future training needs. A short film will be created to promote legal empowerment in marginalized communities.

Grant Amount: €15,000
