XV Ethno-fair ETNOLAAT and XXXVII Estonian National Forum

Organisation: Estonian Union of National Minorities | Eestimaa Rahvuste Ühendus

Location: Tallinn

The project aims to promote and preserve the cultural identity and rights of national minorities in Estonia through two major events: XV Ethno-fair ETNOLAAT and XXXVII Estonian National Forum. These initiatives will enhance intercultural dialogue, empower minority communities, and foster collaboration.

The ethno-fair will gather 10,000 participants and 25 minority organizations to showcase traditions, handicrafts, and cultural performances, increasing public awareness of Estonia’s diversity. The forum will bring together 100 representatives of national minorities, cultural organizations, and policymakers to discuss cultural preservation, social inclusion, and youth engagement, with 30 young leaders actively participating.

The project will engage with key stakeholders, including the Estonian Ministry of Culture and the Estonian Integration Foundation, ensuring minority concerns are represented in national policies.

Cooperation with organizations such as Fenno-Ugria Asutus and the Estonian Folklore Council will further support cultural sustainability.
