1 July 2022

Last March, on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, Minority Rights Group met with a number of Tunisian civil society organizations fighting against racial discrimination in Tunisia.

In this video, you can listen to their testimonies on the issue, as well as their criticisms and recommendations concerning the Organic Law n°2018-50 related to the elimination of all forms of racial discrimination and also concerning the constitution of 2014.

In the run-up to a referendum for a potential new constitution in Tunisia taking place on 25 July, we hope that the voices of civil society organizations fighting against racial discrimination and for the protection of all minoritized and vulnerable groups will be heard and their issues taken into account.
