From weakness to strength: Empowering Women through the MARIO Project

17 July 2023

Within the framework of the MARIO programme, the NGO Jedność (Unity) implemented a project, ‘From weakness to strength’ to support women from Ukraine in Poland. The project includes education of national minorities (refugees and migrants) about their rights in Poland; five refugee women shared their knowledge and skills with other women from national minorities. We offered women to become effective co-creators of civil society in Krakow. We organized six networking meetings where women shared their knowledge and found support for themselves among other participants.

We also created a space where women could learn the information they need and generally unite for the future.
