Association for Inclusive Education – Action Research for the Enforcement of Educational Rights
Organisation: Polgár Foundation for Equity | Polgár Alapítvány az Esélyekért
Location: Baks, Bököny, Örkény and Budapest
The project aims to combat the segregation of Roma children in Hungarian schools, a practice that continues to violate human rights and perpetuate inequalities. Using innovative activities like participatory action research and deliberative democracy, the organization will involve Roma parents in addressing this issue. The project includes training, workshops, forums and the creation of local education coalitions to empower Roma parents and stakeholders to actively participate in solving local educational problems.
The project will focus on three settlements (Baks, Bököny and Örkény) working to build collaborations between Roma parents, local communities and educational institutions.
