Engage Us Locally
Project details

The project Engage Us Locally aims to include representatives of minority groups in Poland, primarily in Warsaw, in activities that help to increase competencies and knowledge on their rights and on the issues affecting different minority groups, such as discrimination. The project assumes the implementation of several activities, which are as follows: Awareness-raising Campaigns on Minority Groups and their Rights; Social Media Awareness Campaign through Digital Storytelling; Monthly Cultural-Awareness Training for Minority Groups; Support for Minority-led Organizations and Initiatives; Mini-Report on Policy Recommendations on Minority Rights in Poland. The aim is to involve minority groups, such as Ukrainians, Belarusans or people of Arab or African origin, in raising cultural awareness, strengthening knowledge about their rights, implementing bottom-up initiatives for their agency, and participating in creating a narrative about themselves in Polish society, e.g. in the form of campaigns in social media, schools. Based on these experiences, a mini-report will be written as a collection of good practices.
