Hashtag knowyourrights: Roma youth engagement in the protection of fundamental rights

Project details

Roma youth are systematically denied their fundamental rights, and often they are not even aware of it. Thus, The project aims to engage 14 young Roma advocates in a training series that aims to equip them with the knowledge and tools to recognise and report discrimination cases. After the training, the participants will reach out to other young Roma across the country to increase their legal awareness through community workshops and a dedicated TikTok campaign, the social media platform used mostly by the Roma youth community in Hungary.
