Organisation: UCCU Roma Informal Education Foundation |  UCCU Roma Informális Oktatási Alapítvány

Location: Budapest, Miskolc, Nyíregyháza and Debrecen

The project goal is to develop and implement a two-day training on minority and human rights for Roma youth and youth workers supporting Roma communities across Hungary. The training will first be piloted in Budapest before being refined and expanded to Miskolc, Debrecen and Nyíregyháza.

The first day of the training will focus on minority identity, human dignity and fundamental freedoms, the second day will address the steps that can be taken in response to rights violations. Each training session will host 12-14 participants.

Through this initiative, the project seeks to strengthen rights awareness and advocacy among Roma youth, fostering long-term engagement and empowerment.
