The project ‘I want to be heard’ will build bridges between the people of the Roma population in the municipality of Varna and the local policymakers. The activities envisaged in the project will provide the necessary support and will initiate a dialogue between them with a perspective to bind the promises with tangible results, developing a draft of Roma inclusion strategy for Varna municipality and thus turning the individual initiatives of the local administration into a structured policy for the inclusion of Roma in the society. Roma and non-Roma CSOs will combine their expertise to deliver a draft paper of significant local importance, a document prepared by the Roma people for the Roma people. Fostering constructive communication all the actors will be persuaded by the profits of the participatory democracy and the significance of the right to vote.
